The skull is one of the most rigid parts of the human body and any cell growth within it can cause major problems. A brain tumor is made up of a collection of abnormal cells found in your brain.
Our objective is to perform a study for the detection of brain tumors using the TensorFlow tool. For this purpose we have chosen a database from Kaggle, which contains images of different types of brain tumors, in this case we will deal with images of:
• Gliomas: Tumors arising from the supporting cells of brain tissue.
• Meningiomas: Tumor arising from the meninges, which are the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord.
• Pituitary: Abnormal growths that develop in the pituitary gland.
• No apparent tumor
The database is divided into two folders, train and test, which in turn will contain four folders indicating the types of brain tumors we have.
In this notebook we will use different techniques for image detection such as the use of neural networks.
