Jaime Parada López

I'm a Data Scientist with a background in Computer Engineering and a Master's in Data Science. My journey into the world of data began with a solid foundation in software development, system architecture, and computational principles, which I acquired during my undergraduate studies in Computer Engineering.

About me

I am Jaime Parada López, a passionate data scientist with expertise in deep learning and machine learning. I specialize in developing predictive models using neural networks and advanced algorithms, transforming data into actionable insights. Currently, I am a Data Scientist Intern at TheNextPangea S.L, where I explore image segmentation, research few-shot learning algorithms for defect detection, and apply machine learning techniques to enhance accuracy in image classification and segmentation.

Previously, I interned as a Software Developer at Capgemini S.A, building complete web applications using the Devonfw technology stack, Springboot, JPA, Maven, and Angular. I hold a Master's Degree in Data Science from Universidad Camilo José Cela and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha. My academic projects include predicting NBA game outcomes and comparing learning techniques for drone swarm control.

Here are some of the projects I have been involved in during my time at university.

Mi Portfolio

Predicting NBA Game Outcomes Using Machine Learning

Development of machine learning algorithms for the prediction of NBA results, using a CRISP-DM methodology.

Comparison of Reinforcement Learning and Evolutive Computing Learning techniques in drone swarm control

Detection of brain tumors

In this project, a notebook was created in Kaggle where a study of brain tumors will be carried out by means of different techniques related to neural networks.

Titanic database study

Creation of python notebooks where we will study the titanic database using machine learning techniques.
